Semi-Intensive English + Business English Program

The Homeland Semi-Intensive + Business English Program combines General English in the morning with Business English in the afternoon, helping students strengthen their everyday English while developing the professional communication skills needed for the workplace. Students complete a placement test to determine their English level and class placement. Business English is available to intermediate to advanced students based on placement test results.

• Students complete a placement test on their first Monday and join the appropriate General English class.
• Morning classes develop reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills.
• Afternoon Business English focuses on workplace vocabulary, professional communication, business writing, presentations, negotiations, and networking.
• Teachers use course textbooks and supplementary materials tailored to student needs.
• Students have a morning break from 10:30–10:45 a.m. and a lunch break from 12:00–1:00 p.m.
• An ideal next step for learners entering the Canadian workforce or looking to strengthen their professional English communication skills after completing government-funded programs.
