Intensive (Full-Time)

The Intensive Program

Schedule:
9:00 am to 3:00 pm and also includes an afternoon class each day dedicated to one specific skill.

The Homeland Intensive Program is a fully immersive English experience. From the classroom to exploring the city and cultural activities, all students in all levels of language learning will improve their ability. The full-time program is open to all levels from Entry to Advanced.

Details:

• Teachers use material from the textbook as well as external, supplemented exercises. Each teacher uses unique teaching methods and creates lesson plans specific to the level they are teaching.
• Students will have the same homeroom teacher every morning of the week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, students will have a different teacher. This gives teachers and students a change to have a different learning experience.
• There are two breaks in the day, one in the morning from 10:30am – 10:45am and one in the afternoon from 2:00pm – 2:10pm.
• Friday afternoons are for the Homeland cultural Activity or students can choose to watch a movie at the school, or get extra tutoring or homework help.
• Students take a placement test on their first Monday in order to determine their level. They join their first class in the afternoon on the same day. The afternoon teacher on Monday is the same as their morning homeroom teacher.

Students who are studying in a PATHWAY PROGRAM are following the Intensive Program schedule.
